'Jules has helped me with my recovery from several minor strokes over the last 10 years. She worked with me on a very personal level ensuring her therapy was completely relevant to the goals I had set for myself.
Jules' work is intuitive and in my experience quite incredible. By watching the way I had learnt to cope with day to day tasks she developed a therapeutic approach completely tailored to my needs. Her work is always fluid and adaptive, she is able to adjust an approach if she can see an improvement particular to the person she is working with.
In short, Jules is a talented, experienced conductor who has helped me find the motivation I needed to improve by helping me find my personal goals and achieve them.'

"I suffered a stroke two and a half-years ago and I absolutely love my weekly Neuro-physiotherapy sessions with Emily.
Her approach is the absolute definition of person-centred. Her careful observations and insight have been so valuable to my continued improved use of my affected left side.
Emily is honest and sincere with unconditional positive regard for the individuals with whom she works (and their loved ones). She strongly believes that change can happen with the right attitude and hard work and she will help you to achieve both of those things. "

'My twins made amazing strides forward during their conductive education with Jules. I was so impressed with it that I actively sought out a conductive education school.'
Jules was excellent to work with, hugely enthusiastic but at the same time bringing calm, focus and concentration to the twins. The improvement in their motor skills and ability to problem solve has really set them up for life. '
Clare, Mum to Alix and Pip who both have a rare genetic condition.
'My son Michael has accessed conductive education from a very young age. I bombarded Jules with questions right from the beginning, how does it work? what do you do? can you actually teach someone to balance? Jules took the time to go through each and every question and answered each one.
My son went from having very little balance or save reflex, to now, at 18, walking short distances, being able to transfer, dress, shower and carry out a huge number of daily living skills independently.
Jules had an abundance of patience and such a positive attitude. This positive attitude is now instilled in my son, he wants to try and he WILL succeed. Thank you Jules, I am so glad I came to that initial meeting. The work that you do is fantastic and the results are life changing.'

I did CE throughout childhood on and off from the age of about 9 and from my point of view as a user of the program it's one of the best things I've ever done! (I probably still use the techniques now!) ... it gave me an understanding of my own body for the first time, confidence in my own abilities and the tools to overcome whatever by body was throwing at me!
I learnt how to make my body work the way I wanted it to, In a way I didn't feel with regular physio! And above all the sessions are enjoyable!! (I guess it just felt like it would if you were going to a weekly yoga class or something, doing something beneficial but enjoyable at the same time) I think my experience of CE was helped by not only the program itself, but also by the support and encouragement of Jules! Her approach was fun and understanding, I had a great time in my sessions whilst also feeling the benefit to me and my body in the long run!'
